Re: Paint
When I make signs I use spray ink. First I cut the letters and then use spray shellac to cover the entire surface. Next use the spray ink to spray the letters. After it dries I set my jointer at the minimum depth and run it across the jointer. This removes the over spray and allows you to finish the...

Re: Axiom question
I have had an Axiom Pro 6 for over a year now. Bought one of the first ones sold. The pendent works fine and the only software you need is V-Carve or whatever you are going to use. One of the designers of the machine is owner of WOODWERKS in Columbus, Ohio. Very good people to deal with and very goo...

I had this problem and I was advised to updated my software. Haven't had it since. I think it was in V-Carve 7.5.

Re: Praying cowboy Problem
Thanks for the quick replies gentlemen. What I have is exactly like shown in the picture. How do I correct the problem? Do I need to make the work piece larger?

Praying cowboy Problem
I downloaded the praying cowboy 3d artwork from Vectric and when I run the roughing toolpath it cuts a deep oblong hole on the edge of the artwork. Can someone please help me with this problem. I'm sure it is something simple I am doing wrong.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Water Cooled Spindle
On my Axiom pro 6 cnc the pump and radiator ride on the gantry. It is a small closed system that is filled with rv antifreeze since in the winter it gets cold in my shop sometimes. My spindle is a 2.2 kw. Don.t know if they are available on the internet but they should be.

Re: Butterfly Box
Thanks for the project. I have the pieces cut but when I assemble the hinge it is longer than the groove. The pieces are .497" thick. Also is there an easy way to get them glued up?
Thanks

Re: Segments for Turning or Frames
They work well and has made segmenting alot easier. I have made about 10 sleds so far since all of my turning friends want one after they see how easy it is to make segments. Thanks for posting. Curt
