Cabriole-style legs

1:25 scale cabriole-style leg , done as proof of concept for a client.
Design still needs some final tweaking before going full size.
I could not have achieved this without Aspire.

Sticking to basics

Client's brief = Make me a sign for my horse's stable from railway sleeper teak. Only wax the machined area & leave the un-machined area as it was saw-cut at the mills, warts & all. The ease of the job is thanks to Aspire-magic ! I ran the job without dust-extractor to be able to take photo's as wor...

3D Scanners

It's been a while since 3D scanners have been discussed on the various forum choices. More choices are now available to end users. I ask for comment by anyone using a 3D scanner to give some feedback. Make, model, approx. cost, ease of use, accuracy, rendering quality, "edit-ability" etc. I see more...

Re: Going small

Hi to all Thank you for the posts. I never thought that such a small item would kick-start a discussion. I will try the brass bar idea in 2015, it does make sense. Suggestion to Vectric - When anyone registers on this forum, make the country of ops a required field. I also often look at the country ...

Re: Going small

(Yields thinner lines than a pencil) Used a laser drill press attachment to line up X-axis position. I have used dow...
