the ones I got were gray and they were way to stiff to use on wood but work great on metal

I think you have to associate the .stl file with aspire to get rid of the Certificate Licenses message

don't know about mother of pearl but with Ivory you can super glue it to a piece of wood, cut it and then soak it in acetone to release it

is there a easier way to move s STL around besides the mouse. I know you can just rotate the X,Y or Z./ I have problems trying to get the STL object to set flat on the layer. Here is a owl I just finished, carved in a sycamore limb from my tree in the front yard. A storm knocked down a few limbs last year.
