I'd like to vcarve a clock dial but have no success in placing the 12 numbers in 30 degrees steps correct.
I drew a circle and copied 12 lines around the center to have the correct angle but with the ' wrap text around a curve' tool I have no success.
Any ideas out there ?

Re: How to create a template for a clock dial
Richard,
Make your first line the exact distance from the center to where you want your numbers placed. Then do your copy rotate. Next choose your font and create your numbers one at a time. Lastly, select your numbers and drag them to the end of each line and they will snap and stay at that position. Now you can delete all the lines and your numbers are in place.
I hope this is what you were after. If not, give us a little more information and we'll take another crack at it.
