hello all, congratulations to the Vectric software created for the wonderful, simple and complete. other than "A.. C.." heavy and more complicated (personal opinion).
Use aspire to create CNC files to build my guitars, I can not in any way to create a break-tilted (tenon) for the seat of the neck of the guitar les paul type. I tried using the "two-rail sweep," but I can not.
I state that I start with a plan in 2D. I enclose a picture of what I select vectors

I hope in your suggestion, definitely useful.
I can also post the file if someone wants to try.

also send a photo where you see the home that I have to mill and a photo where you see the slope in the cross-section of the pocket. the angle is 3.5 °

The two easiest ways to do this is using the 2 rail sweep or create a flat component and tilt it to 3.5 degrees.

For the 2 rail sweep you need to create a profile where the top slopes at 3.5 degrees and the vertical legs at each end provide the thickness you want. The width would be determined by the size of the pocket. Then create a rectangle the same width and use node editing to remove the two spans you don't want, leaving you with the 2 rails used for the two rail sweep. Now you can create the 2 rail sweep using the 2 rails and profile.

In the second method, create a rectangle the size you want the inclined plane to be. Use this and the Create Shape tool to create a Planar shape the thickness of the thinnest end. You can either apply a 3.5 degree tilt while creating the shape or later on using the Component Properties.

Whichever method, once you have the inclined shape you would merge it with the guitar body.

I managed to do with the two-rail sweep 2 minutes before the arrival of the mail, but with the second method is much more comfortable, now I understand how to measure the block to the right, unfortunately there are no quotas in the 3d view, but I will try to experiment.
I work for various needs, with 0 above the material, I always reset the top. are really too happy to be able to work with this fantastic program.

Unfortunately I can not open the files I've attached because I use the version 3.0
updating with the 3.5 demo I often crashed the pc, never happened with 3.0

updating with the 3.5 demo I often crashed the pc,
I am not quite sure what you are trying to tell us here.
It is not possible to update a full version of the software with the trial edition.

I'm afraid that we have been unable to find your registered user details from your forum details.

How is this working out for you? I am looking at upgrading from VCarve to Aspire for guitar making myself. Have you actually created 3D model of the neck in Aspire yet?

Would love to see pics of what you have made so far.
