Clock, Pocket cut

Post by grjensen »

Is is possible to do a pocket cut but preserve the height of the numbers. I would like to cut down 1/8 in the surface but leave the numbers untouched. I only have Cut2D. Can this be done with VCarvePro.

Select all the vectors and create a pocket toolpath with a 1/8" cut depth. That will take away all the material inside the circle but leave the numbers standing. You'll need a pretty small bit to get round the numbers though.
