New to 3D need some advice

Post by kjackswood »

I am just getting started at trying to cut a 3D image in wood.
I am using a CNC Shark PRO Plus.
I was curious as to what bits should I use for simple carvings. Can I use the Vcarve bits for the whole application?
Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

Thanks
Ken

For the 3d stuff I use 1/4 up cut for roughing,
1/8 and 1/16 ball nose for the finish work.
Happy cutting
