Aspire VS V-Carve

Post by patmcl »

I have looked at the comparisons between Aspire and V-Carve. Which is the best to use? I have the V-Carve already but it looks like the Aspire does more. What are your opinions on this topic?

I think the comparison matrix sums it up pretty well.

If you want to create relief models yourself then you need Aspire. If you want to create lithopanes then you need Aspire or PhotoVCarve.

You can machine relief models that have been created by companies such as VectorArt3D with VCarve but you won't be able to modify them in the same way as you can with Aspire.

It all boils down to what you want to do with your machine at the end of the day. There is no "this one is better than that one" answer as only you know what you want to achieve.

Thank-You Adrian, this really helps I have the V-Carve program already and may just get the Aspire.
