A minature kitchen sink and countertop

Post by C.Michael »

My Aunt makes minature doll houses and I thought I would try to make a kitchen sink and counter top in about 1/12th scale for her

The sink was the hard part..first I made the design in Autocad 2000..then set up the 2 sided cut in Cut3d...Roughed with a 1/4 endmill and finished with a 1/8 ball

The counter top was again draw in Autocad..cut out in V carve using a 1/8th end mill and then fliped it over to carve down the thickness using a 1/4 end mill

I am happy with it..

Just wondering since it is so small do you have to charge by the square inch instead of foot on the counter top and is the sink still $400.00? :? Because if so I'm making doll furniture for a livin'.
