importing a tool path from cut 3d

Post by adam dogg »

Why can I not import a tool path from cut 3d to v-carve pro.

I sure hope that for the money I spent on this that it is not going to make me buy the 3d files and not be able to use any original work.

In that case why should I not have went with a sodftware like mastercam that will allow you to do things like that?

Is there a return policy?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Adam,

We do not claim that Cut3D files can be imported into VCarve Pro and are
very sorry to hear you are unhappy with the software.

We are planning for the next release of VCarve Pro to import Cut3D files
and work in a similar way to using the VA3D Machinist files. This will allow
you to import your own designs from Cut3D into VCPro.

Cut3D has only just been released so it would have been very difficult for
us to have included the option to import this format when when VCarve Pro
was released last year.

We offer the Trial versions of each product to allow customers to evaluate
the functionality and and ensure the software meets their requirements
before purchasing. This is because the license cannot simply be returned.

If you wish to discuss this further please e-mail sales@vectric.com or call us.

Thank you,

Tony McKenzie
