Ok this is kinda weird now.
I have found that if i start vcarve wizard and go file => open..... open.. all is well.
but if i double click on the file then all the material info is bung and it will crash if you change it.
I have attached some captures showing this issue on my mates speaker boxes we are making this weekend.

Hi Bart,

Thanks for taking the time to track down this specific problem and post such useful details that have enabled
Brian identify the problem in the code base. This problem will definitely be fixed in version 3.

In the mean time we recommend not double clicking to open files.

Thanks again,

Tony

I'm still playing with the trial version of VCarve PRO 3.0 and was attempting to cut the Xmas_decoration.crv. VCarve Pro doesn't think that this is a trial file and will not allow the toolpaths to be saved (see attached screen capture). Does this file need to be corrected or updated to allow for toolpath creation due to the newer 3.0 version of VCarve?

What a blast it is learning the VCarve PRO 3.0 interface, manipulating the demo files and saving up for the FULL version.

Thank you.

Hi HayTay,

I've updated the file and you should now be able to save the toolpaths?

If you could let me know either way it would be appreciated.

Thanks,

The VCarve PRO 3.0 trial version will now allow saving the Wreath toolpath(s). Thanks for the file fix and the quick response, Tony. I'll have to wait until later to carve the image since I've got to get ready for a date (with my wife :D).

Bang up job,
Thanks again.

Thanks HayTay.

It's always worth looking after the 'other-half' as I'm sure they often think the machine is more important!
Have a good evening.
