Post processor for SCM 48NST AlphaCam and Xilog Plus

Post by keelhauled »

Hi guys
Sorry for posting here as well as the Aspire forum but maybe one of you will be able to help. The pp included in Aspire2 for a SCM is Xilog and will not run my machine. The pp for the Morbidelli machine is Xilog Plus and comes close to running my machine but has lots of issues.

1 Are these pp's open for changing/ tweaking to suit machine?
2 Has anyone came across this problem with their machine?
3 Any genius available to write me one?

Regards

Mick

Hi Gravirozo

I was working fine with the pp Vectric sent with the programme except everything had to be mirrrored before I could cut it. Small inconvienence. The outcome is that I'm sorted now. I'm very lucky to know an absolute genius in CNC programming and he tweaked my post to get me going 100%.

I have the same machine and I am having difficulties getting the post that came with v carve to work. I wonder if you would be willing to share the post you have modified with me.

Thanks

Hi
I use a program called winxiso to convert the output from aspire (xilog pp xxl>pgm) intoo ASCII which is the language that xilog uses, you might also have to edit the pp a bit.
winxiso should be somewhere under the xilog folder on your computer.
