Hi conifer,
Two questions:
1. what version of the Vectric software are you running?
2. have you set the Project default path?

Looking forward to hearing from you. :)
Thanks,
Jim

Hi Seminole,

I do not have Aspire, but if you rename the EastCabinetTools.zip file to EastCabinetTools.vgadget Then use the "Install New Gadget" function under the Gadget drop down menu.

I love all your gadgets. Thanks you so much for helping out so many people. One question on the cabinet maker. Can you add tabs somehow, just a thought. I will not be using this app but I think it might be handy. I do things like a cabinet but only once in a while and use a table saw. Thanks again for all your Gadgets !!!!!!!!

Hi wolfman,
Can you provide more info on the Tabs? I am not clear yet.
Thanks,
Jim

Hey Jim, after cutting out the square boards can tabs be put along the sides so they do not move. Is that something that can be done in Regular Vectric or would it have to be put into the Gadget, If someone had a cutter beg enough to cut out several parts at one time. I do not know how Vectric and Gadgets interact with each other. If tabs could be add through vectric during the Gabinet Gadget was done there there is no big deal. Long counter top but want to cut as one long piece then split where tabs are rather then a lot of small cut out pieces. Just a though. No big deal.

Okay, I think I understand, holding tabs are usually added as apart of the tool path process. In the create toolpath menu, check the box and you can edit the amount and placement.

FYI. I know everyone may not have a mill that can handle full size sheet goods. You can still use the cabinet gadget. Run the gadget and build the cabinet. Print out the drawing and the bill of materials for a cut list. It should save you some time.
Thanks,
Jim

Hello All,

Here is Easy Cabinet Maker (Ver 6.32)

Here is what I have done:
1. More Error trapping
2. Cleanup of code
3. Rewrote all Dialogs
4. Fixed Layer Naming
5. Added toolpaths (Profiles, Pocketing, Drilling) If you do not select a drill, then the Hole Tool-path will not be made.
6. Added Smart Milling (only mill for the tools selected)
7. And 12M other items :D

PLease let me know if you see and issues.

Next steps:
1. Looking at making it Version Smart (if user is running older versions, then flip to old style tool database)
2. Build out the Help File

Hi Dah79,
Thanks for the feedback and here is Version 3.3 of Easy Euro Hinge Gadget.

I found and fixed these issues:
1. Better Error trap message on "No Job Setup"
2. Error trap Dialog for zero values
3. Error trap for "No door/box selected"
4. Dialog (CSS) display issues
5. And more code cleanup (I am learning so much doing these Gadgets)

Next Steps:
1. Add Toolpaths (Drill and Pocket)
2. Build a Help File or Video - What do you think would be better? (let me know)

Thanks Jim. Works as expected now.

A help file is always good, but then so is a quick tutorial video. Thanks again for your continued gadgets!
