Help Please, drawing/programming design

I have a job to reproduce old tracery for a church steeple. I have everything down but can not figure out how to successfully draw and program the edge profiel. One edge is a large cove and the other is a chamfer. These two profiles must follow the outer edge of the profile per the attached picture of the old church. Unfortunately, I spent all day yesterday trying to figure it out with no success. I would appreciate any and all help. I have attached the original church picture we are replicating and the file I have to date.

You, have a lot of double lines and broken contours. I do these kind of projects, occasionally.
Watching the tutorials, will be a start. Mite take a couple of weeks, to figure, out the first time.
Telling us what kind of equipment, you are using will help.

I am using a ShopBot PRS Alpha CNC. I couldn't see any broken contours on my Aspire program. I've spent the last day and a half watching videos. I've been able to get everyting except the point of the two circles where one circle ends and it continues into the next one. This area is the big challenge.

The Vector Validator is your friend. It will show you where the issues are.

Wow!! Hadn't played with that tool before. I find it interesting because I imported a .bmp and traced it using just a few arches. So I'm confused why this happened and how in the world do I clean it up?

With a relatively simple design like that you're pretty much always better of manually tracing it using the drawing tools rather than automatic tracing. Especially as it's a repeating pattern so you only need to draw part of it.

Node editing, interactive trim tool and the join tools are all part of the arsenal to clean up vectors like that.

The video link below, may be helpful for you. Lots of vector drawing and editing tools are used and demonstrated, along with many other techniques utilized when making similar designs to yours.

Of course, you will likely be using a photo/bitmap as a “drawing guide”, as well as adjusting with appropriate dimensions for your windows.
