Bluetooth Speaker

Post by Ken Tipton »

Hey all,

Here are a couple of pics of a bluetooth speaker I built. Had some scraps and had some speakers so this is what I came up with.

it sounds good. I got all the internals from Parts Express. It is a 30w 2 channel board with built in bluetooth.

I didn't get a picture of the inside. As for the crossover it is just a inline cap as these speakers came from a set of monitors I had. I just tore apart the housings and made the new housing using the same airspace as the original. I don't have a parts list but can post one for anyone interested.

Ken,

Finally got around to looking at this bookmarked thread. Interesting project. I must put this on my list of things to do.

It's amazing the difference two months make. The "Dayton Audio KAB-230v3 2x30W Class D Audio Amplifier Board with Bluetooth 4.0" is listed as no longer available at Parts Express. Would have to source it elsewhere.

Anyone of the other suggested amps would work. They aren't the most powerful anyway
