It is apparent you have been doing it for a long time, excellent work.
I don't have a problem with gluing up the segments, I use a seg-easy style jig to cut them and the segments go together perfectly every time. That thing is downright amazing. I just do not do as much turning as I would like to for some odd reason.
Where I get in trouble is gluing the rings together. Not as precise as I would like to see.
