made from 6mm and 3mm mdf fully up its 800mm high down 600mm frames painted copper metal and the gears gold has an Edison bulb and a Frankenstein on off switch

Cool indeed! I'm with Phil in thinking you could probably sell the plans for it. It's hard enough to make progress on the bucket list and then I have to add one more.

What program did you use to generate the gears?

thanks men this design I bought of ebay steampunk steel lamp dfx. format to be plasma cut from steel and the gears welded to the axles I added 1/8th slots to the gears and drilled 1/8"dia. pin holes in the bolts to get the gears to rotate also added 1/6th fillets to all of the sharp corners all pieces were cut using a 1/6th dia. straight flute end mill
so go for it men regards frank
