Machining Chocolate

She definitely has to watch the feedrates. The melting point of chocolate is between 86°F (30°C) and 90°F (32°C).

Dinara Kasko uses a number of different 3D design programs for her creations. This Pastry Chef Creates Fascinating Geometric Cakes Using 3D Printing

We've got to see what Beki and the others back at Vectric labs come up with for a similarly tasty project of the month.

I wonder if she chilled that block of chocolate in a freezer before she milled it...

I'm afraid I'd have 100% failure rate and have to dispose of the evidence.
Wonder if Rubbermaid makes a cyclone so I could dispose of the hazardous waste properly.
Hmm Randall.........What's the Moo's hardness of frozen Milk Chocolate?

Wow that is a tasty project right there! How do they hold the chocolate down??
Sorry Randall I think I wouldn't get very far with a project like this, the chocolate would be gone before I'd save the toolpaths out! haha :P :D

She creates silicone molds for repeatable items.
She is also using 3D printing for some items.
Her background is in architecture.
Here is a TED talk where she describes her processes.
