Hard Eagle

Post by garylmast »

A couple of weeks ago, Scottart posted his work on the steam punk salmo and it reminded me that I was playing around with "hard surfaces" a couple of years ago in ZBrush, then got sidetracked. Since then, I upgraded to the newest version of ZBrush 2018 and Rhino 6, I decided to model it in Rhino instead. Here is outcome. I used a silver-nickel powder metal coating.

GARY!!
Ya GOT to stop doing that..... Like your Pool Table vs. Wall Art, can't tell whether I'm more impressed by the Iron Eagle, or the round basketweave table!!! :)
What material was Hard Eagle cut out of?

NICE Job Gary! :)

Wow another awesome piece Gary. Finish is superb.
I have been pouring myself into Z-Brush 2018 as well. What a compliment to the whole Vectric line. Thanks for sharing.

It always gets me into trouble but, I assume it's individual parts that are then put together?
That does give me an idea.
