A few Children's Plaques

Post by Rcnewcomb »

Just off the machine. Home Depot Poplar. There was some wood movement during the cutting since this is the rainy season in Northern California.

The heart-shaped one is just simple V-Carving.

The other two use a piece of clip art from Design & Make.

Nice. Know what you mean about moisture and wood movement with our humid weather here in Southeast Georgia - although we're having colder temps at this time. Looking at those I also see that they could be made into boxes as well as plaques. Thank you for sharing.

Those are very nice, Randall!

Hey, Dan. It’s only 36 degrees this morning in Brunswick, GA. The wind makes it feel a LOT colder! I can’t wait for Spring and Summer!!

Well, at least my workshop is a comfy 76 degrees. Might spend most of the day there!

Michael, we're still sitting at around 33 degrees. I looked and Randall was at around 43 degrees at 6 this morning. My shop isn't fully finished and is still cold. I'm too cheap to buy a supplemental heater for it.

Always love the idea of plaques and gifts for new arrivals! Well done.

Really like both options. The raised VCarving is super nice... and the recessed blocks adds even more dimension!

Thanks, Randy for sharing!
