Laser Image Using Aspire
I’ve been playing with an 8.5 watt laser...There’s a pretty big learning curve to make things workout...”Cutting” with no Z moves, making sure the laser turns on and off with each XY move to minimize burnover, trying to figure out feed rate and intensity, and all the other things we like so much about doing anything with our CNC routers that give us satifaction...this is an image I had already cut doing a profile cut with a sharp pointed 60 deg V bit...just wanted to show it off.

Which laser are you using (brand) and did you modify the PP to turn on the laser?
Thanks

I bought an 8.5 watt from Endurance Lasers...I did modify one of the Mach 3 posts to elimanate “Z” moves and turn the laser on and off...also control the laser output by using the Mach 3 pwm spindle speed control.

Rig gap, I have purchased an Endurance 10watt Laser. I can't get the PWM connected. Did you connect an additional card? I need some help, please.

J Tech Photonics has an article on their website that gives the instructions for doing that.
