Thank you so much for the files!!
What a lot of work you did and to make that available to all on the forum is fantastic.
What a great forum.

Re: Preview wood types
You should really place custom textures into the "Public Documents\Vectric Files\Material Images" folder. That way the images are available to all Vectric programs installed regardless of versions.lavon wrote:how do I access C:\ProgramData\Vectric\Aspire\V9.5\BitmapTextures\1_Wood

Re: Preview wood types
I added the wood types I can buy locally both horizontal & vertical some time ago now, I don't use a lot of other wood types so having a database with hundreds of different wood types is of little use to me. Like the idea of having both sealed & Un-sealed wood types, I use a sealer most of the time & it generally has quite a big impact on the wood colour & visibility of grain patterns
Thanks for the idea, downloaded your file to see if you have already done the wood types I use most of the time, thanks for that as well

Re: Preview wood types
Fascinating. Would that the software had an "Open Common Data Folder" menu entry. I slotted my custom textures long ago in the "BitmapTextures" folder from the "Open Application Data Folder" menu item as that was the only place I thought they could go.Adrian wrote:You should really place custom textures into the "Public Documents\Vectric Files\Material Images" folder. This might have saved me no end of trouble having to recopy files on upgrade.

Re: Preview wood types
Funny...lots of folks are asking "include me, "I'm in", "put me on the list", etc.
You are all already "included" and there is no "list"
The files are available for download in first post on Page 2 of this thread.

Re: Preview wood types
Hi. Could it be that the files are no more available? I only get an "Comming Soon..."
