I use an X Carve machine and interested in direct output to machine.
Is that possible with the current version 9.5?
If so how do I set up for this?
Thanks

Re: Output Direct to Machine
That feature's availability is determined by the provider of the controller/control software. If available on yours, it would come from them.

Re: Output Direct to Machine
I know there are people on the forum using Mach3 that output direct to machine, as IslaWW says it is dependant on your control software.

Re: Output Direct to Machine
X-Carve machines are one of the GRBL varieties so the new VTransfer program in 9.5 may be of use to you.
Re: Output Direct to Machine
X-Carve is essentially running a GRBL1.1 controller and can work with a number of GCode senders. If you look at my post (http://forum.vectric.com/viewtopic.php? ... 25#p227925) earlier today, you will find details on how to create an 'INI' file in your Post Processor directory which can execute the GCode sender of your choice,

Re: Output Direct to Machine
Well that explains it. The trial must not come with Vtransfer, I checked the destination you referred to as its location on C:, and nothing is there.
I was hoping to test it out. If it did in fact work, Then my next choice is to jump from Vcarve Pro 6.5 to 9.5, or take the swing and go for Aspire.
