Visit to the Krispy Krusier

Post by cabnet636 »

Ran into the Krusier at the Hendersonville Apple Festival in NC this weekend, Still looking pretty good ! Really fun project we did the first epoxy inlays years ago, lead to it becoming real popular, this was done for a discovery channel show All with Aspire and pretty new methods at the time

I know you have probably covered this already but i did a quick search and couldn't find what I was looking for.

Technique questions

Just v-carve then epoxy pour and cut/sand smooth?

Materials question

Epoxy brand resin # and Hardener # any additives?
This is just a solid surface? corian, magnetite or another?
What colorants are you using?

Thanks
