Aspire 3D Modeling Maker / Tutor

Post by PapaBear1044 »

Hi,

I make custom wood game boards (vancouverwoodsmith.com). From time to time, my clients request some rather intricate 3D carving from my CNC. When I cannot find a model, I must create one. Most of the time I can just turn on my software, Aspire, and it will generate a fairly good model. Still, there are times when that isn't good enough. So, I'm looking for an artistic partner to create those for me OR, BETTER YET, someone who is willing to tutor me to learn to do it myself. Use the Aspire tutorials, you say? Unfortunately, I've not found any that go deep enough into the topic to get me there - as it requires working with some graphic package like Photoshop to accomplish.

Thanks and have a great day.

Dave

Which tutorials are you watching that require Photoshop to make a 3d model? That's not part of the process with Aspire. It can be for certain processes with PhotoVCarve.

Michael created a great tutorial on create a 3D model from a picture or image. He even includes the files to follow along.
