First lithophane

Post by Greasetattoo »

Well, here is my first attempt at a lithophane.
I did it on my Sherline converted Mill.

I used a .125 ball nose for the roughing
I used a .0625 Beckwith ball nose for the finishing.

Enjoy....gotta go make another...

I am going to make the frame next...

Prototype number one..

Still needs a clear coat and the hanger.

It is 2 halves.
The litho is sandwiched between them.
