Re: Free Projects Feedback
I love the monthly projects and now other free projects as well including ones given by fellow posters.
Over the years Vectric has given us so much to learn from and do especially for those of us that learn faster by doing.
Just go to Vectric web site and under downloads look through 8 years of the “Projects of the month” free projects.
I did the Paradise box way back in March 2011 and it turned out to be my favorite project.
I always encourage newbie’s to do the projects and learn new features along the way and to look at something tangible and beautiful when done.
The paradise box has given me a platform to use as theme boxes. I have customized this box to honor many of my friends.
I have made dozens of them over the last 8 years thanks to the creativity of Michael Tyler.
Go to the Vectric portal to see many more free projects that Beki has done.
Now we have the “Design & Make” web site that can further our ability to customize the projects with little cost.
I’ve made many of the free projects or at least loaded them and called them up to check out how they were done.
It’s a great learning tool and it’s free.
There are too many projects to post pictures of but here are a couple pictures of my favorite theme boxes.
Thanks Vectric for supporting the free projects and I’m looking forward to seeing more in the years to come.

"Vectricon Chroniker"- March 2012. This one was fun.

Re: Free Projects Feedback
Wow Mark, those Paradise boxes are stunning. I especially like The Last Supper one. Is that 2 wood species or did you stain it different colors? Very nice!!

Re: Free Projects Feedback
Thanks Dave.
That last supper box was made a long time ago but I rarely use stain on things like that.
I believe that the box was Jatoba and Maple but I could be wrong.
I've made several last supper boxes over the years using different woods but always two types.
