Help with a Fish

Post by Daner »

I need some help to carve a 2d fish with a 1/2" x 90 V-bit

I tried the profile tool path on a few fish and they look allfull

Attached is my sign, and the fish will be under the Curries

Thanks for any help on this

1. File has no vectors for the fish
2. I'd either use "of" or "OF" preceding GUELPH---definitely not "Of".

Try a depth of 1/32" (0.3125") for the fish profile. That will give a 1/16" wide line with the 90 deg V bit.

I took the fish out of the drawing, still trying to draw a fish, and its still looking bad.
Thanks for catching that "Of mistake.

Hoping someone may have a fish file I could squeeze in there

Cheers

You might have more luck if you post a picture or screenshot of the sort of thing you are looking for, haven't looked at your file so don't know if there are any clues in the file but there are a lot of different types of fish

How about a sign with a muskellunge? Do they have muskies in the Speed river?

How about doing a 3d fish.
The Bass which comes with the VCarve programme is quite good.
Make it any size you want and you could screw it from the back.
