I tried adding a Ball Nose 1/16 inch to the database and I get an error saying Failed to save tool database to file C:\Program Files (x86)\PhotoVCarve\Tooldatabase\tool.tool_db
I tried to copy a new cutter and I tried new and each time I got the same error.
Thank you.

Re: Failed to save tool database to file
I encounter exactly the same problem. It does not matter whether I “Copy” and edit or select “New” and create the tool. I get this message.hmatyas wrote:I tried adding a Ball Nose 1/16 inch to the database and I get an error saying Failed to save tool database to file C:\Program Files (x86)\PhotoVCarve\Tooldatabase\tool.tool_db

Re: Failed to save tool database to file
Try running the program as an administrator. Later versions of Windows really don't like programs writing to the Program Files area.
