Just for the OP's information;

Sounds like a vac hold down and dragknife would work well.

The Donek drag knife comes in 2 varieties, one for thinner materials & one for thicker materials, the D2 & D4 knives will cut up to 1/4" material according to the website
That's handy to know. Thanks.

Just so that everyone knows, Shop Sabre sometimes adds a tangential knife to their machines. With the correct post processor, their knives can trace toolpaths similarly to a router. When they come to an angle that is too sharp, the head lifts, rotates the blade to the correct angle, reinserts, and continues on with the cut. Some of the tangential knives that they use even oscillate and can ~saw~ through somewhat harder or thicker material.

I use a Donek drag knife to cut coregated cardboard and coroplast...it works exactly as advertised...only suggestion I have is to cut from the backside of thicker materials if possible to allow for the overcut that has to be made because of the blade offset. Most anything that can be cut with a utility knife can be cut with a Donek dragknife. I’m not affiliated in any way with Donek products.
