Hi,
From the term "output directly to machine " I assume I can connect a usb cable from my laptop to the computer that Linux resides.
But the output directly to machine remains grey and cannot be selected. Do I have to change something somewhere, have read previous posts but dont understand what they are saying .
I am tired of doing the usb drive thing.
Regards
Terry

Re: " Output Directly to machine "
It won't work if you're using a Linux machine to control the CNC as VCarve has to be on the same PC as the control software for the direct output to work assuming the control software supports the feature in the first place.
I save my output files across my local network and some people use dropbox. Both methods avoid having to do the "usb drive thing".
