I just watched the Slot together project.
What a very informing video. I watched with amazement on how easy it was to do different functions
My question is this. Does the Cut 2D program allow you to do everything that was shown in that video.
When I buy my Cut 2d program would I be able to take that design and take some of the parts off and put on another piece of wood to allow me to use the 24x24 design area.

Re: Slot together project
The restrictions you're coming up against in the trial don't apply to the full version. With the trial version you can't make any changes to the free projects otherwise it will be possible to change the project entirely and bypass the cutting restrictions.
With the full version you can move parts around as much as you want and generate toolpaths without problems.

This should get you there.
It is a great video
I learned how to use lot of different tools and was to help designing
It is about an hour long.
The nice thing I really like about there video's is that you can download them and and have the for reference.

Re:Rocket video.
I have downloaded the Rocket sign video.
They are very good and you learn a lot.
But the volume on them is so low that you can just hear the person talking, I have found that to be the same with most of them.
If that could be turned up anyway that would be great. I have checked and all my settings are as loud as they can be.

Re: Slot together project
Which version are you watching? The V8 is a male voice and the V9 is a female voice.
Both seem fine to me with the volume on the video at full (where I always have it) and the Windows volume at 50%.

Re: Slot together project
I think my problem is that I do not have the right media player.
I gave a copy to my wife and she tried it on her computer and the volume was very good.
So I will have to figure out what one I need to use.
Sorry Jeff
