HOG Edgelit

Post by dwilli9013 »

Just another edgelit for a good friend. Repurposed some handlebars, risers and an old brake rotor. This was done for a friend that is the president of the local Harley Owners Group.
Engraving done with a diamond drag bit on .25" acrylic. Milled the slot in the handlebars then milled out the riser top plate for the Acrylic sheet to lean on. All holes for the wires were pre drilled so bonus for me. Hardest part of this job was sawing the heads of the bolt holding the risers to the rotor.
My friend was quite pleased with the outcome of this project. I was as well as this spawned a few more ideas for my Harley riding friends.

Great work Dwayne.

Yet another beautiful edgelit sign.

I really like the motorcycle parts you added and since Harley parts are so plentiful on the sides of the roads you have an infinite supply of material

Thanks for sharing!!!!
