Freebee?!
I've learned a lot from gleaning all the posts in here.
I think I finally got the hang of creating my own reliefs for carving.
I've tried to upload the stl file but when I click on "add the file" I get bumped out.
Is uploading stl's allowed? I'd like to upload it for others to use.
Thanks to all
Greg

Re: Freebee?!
Very nice job Greg!!! I'd say you have the hang of it.
Looking at your profile, you don't have permission to upload files yet. You have to have so much time or posts on the board (can't remember which) before you can upload or PM.
You might try contacting support@vectric.com and see if they will grant you permission.

Here's a jpg from the 3D viewer I use.
If anyone wants the file let me know and I'll try to E-mail it or something, it's about 34,000KB in size.

Re: Freebee?!
As John has said looks like you have the hang of it, better than anything I could do myself, have you made that from scratch or just used existing components & assembled it?
If you have put it together using existing components then make sure you aren't breaking any copyright regulations before you share it with anyone, not sure how copyright works with something like that myself

Re: Freebee?!
I gathered images from google designated "free for commercial use" or "royalty free" Those are the 4 pine trees on the right.
The mountains are from a photograph I took while on vacation.
The sequoias and the doe I sketched from scratch.

Re: Freebee?!
That is well above the 2MB file size limit. You will need to put it on something like DropBox or GoogleDrive and share the link.34,000KB in size

Let's see if this old dog learned something new today.
I uploaded it to Google drive. This should be the link!?

I down loaded the files but they do not show up as a model when I try to import them into aspire 9.0. has the procedure changed from 8.5
