Re: Guidelines
Just looked at your profile, you don't have access to upload files yet. Sorry.
If you have Dropbox, create a Dropbox folder, copy the Aspire file to the folder and post the link to the Dropbox folder.

Re: Guidelines
Have you tried following the tutorial but instead of importing clipart using the component you created instead ? If it doesn't seem to be working with the compnents you made yourself then you might need to change the combine mode of the components you have made yourself

Re: Guidelines
Right click on the Dropbox icon in the lower right task bar, click Open Dropbox.com (the globe icon) upper right. Locate the Aspire file and click on the "Share" button. Click on "Create a Link" then click on "Copy link". This will copy the link to your clipboard. You can paste to a Post.Dandy Don wrote:Highpockets got Dropbox. It says share with whom? Hope this makes since....

To get a screenshot, use the snipping tool.
To open Snipping Tool, select the Start button, type snipping tool, and then select it in the search results.

Thanks Fix it Mike for snip advice. The picture is attached. Learning this software and got stumped. Don't know how to make a 3D dish and lay the contents in dish without head and tower extending about "plane". I have tried to multiply and add zero plane still doesn't work.
Thanks for help

Re: Guidelines
From a new job:
Model tab click on "Add a plane component with zero height covering model"
Clipart tab select a dome from Domes and Dishes
Model tab right click on imported dome component and select Subtract from Combine Mode
Add the POW/MIA components and set mode to Add
You may also have to change the height of your POW/MIA components or set your dish deeper.

Re: Guidelines
OK so not sure which tutorials you have watched but as well as the Horse head in a dish with the main tutorials there is also this one from the 2015 user group meeting which contains a lot of very good info, well worth studying
http://support.vectric.com/tutorials/V8 ... cks_5.html
Hope that helps
The other thing is that the model will look better in some dishes than it does in others so try a range of different dish models

Once you install Dropbox it works like a hard drive on you computer.
Copy the file to Dropbox then create a link to the file and post the link.
Here's how to create a link....
