Profile Cutout- allowance question

Post by flatheadyoungin »

Say I wanted to cut out this entire profile. However, on the last pass, I wanted to do a -.02 allowance to help make the puzzle piece fit together better. How would I do that allowance on only the highlighted section?

You can select just that line, then profile tool path. In the machine vectors box selecting either Outside / Right OR Inside / Left will dictate which side of the line the tool will cut on. Of course you can still set the allowance value.

You know, I forgot about this...I was thinking it would only profile a loop of connecting vectors but I remember doing it once on something else....

Thanks for the preschool tutorial!
