I had a client that downloaded a trial copy of vcarve desktop 9 and made a little design.
After sending it to me, I wasn't able to open it as it I'm only using 8.5
Wondering if someone with V9 could export this to s DXF for me? Be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: A little help
I can't get it to do it. It will only open trial version files I made with my software.

Re: A little help
Nobody can open files created in trial versions, except Vectric, and the trial copy it was created in.

Re: A little help
I am not a big fan of Customers trying to design anything for me, been at the sign game to long & spent to much time looking at really bad designs or stuff I knew wouldn't work & then trying to explain to customers why it wouldn't work So be careful with things like this.
Best bet if you do want people to be able to do that is to get them to download something like inkscape which is free, do their design in that & send to you as an EPS file

Re: A little help
Since you are already on this path, why not ask the client to make the dxf files and send them to you?
