I am trying to make a simple plaque frame with a sloped border. The corners are not looking good. How do I fix them?
Thanks Kathy

Did this once before but I cannot remember how to do it again.
There is a selection process then a box to select something like - make all corners the same - or something like that.
There IS a fix.
It's easy ------ when you know how.

Re: what am I doing wrong
Kathy,
Please see attached picture.
Here are a few things to do.
In the two rail sweep options , choose the " Fill center of inner closed vector".
That way you'll only need one component.
Two, after selecting the two rails and the profile, click on the outer rail where to place the profile.
In this case I've click on each corner and then adjusted the inner "node" of the shape to align with the inner corner..
I hope this helps.
Michael

Re: what am I doing wrong
You don't need to model the plaque just to be able to bevel the edge. I looked at your file and deleted the models. I created a section view of the beveled edge, and used the moulding toolpath and an inside rectangle to wrap it around the plaque.

Re: what am I doing wrong
Thank you guys, this really should get me going. I am going to try to devote a couple hours a day to this program this winter, maybe I can get a better grip on things.
Thank you again
