If you have a large spindle on your CNC, like a 5 or 10hp, then it can be used the same as a shaper except the tool is moving instead of the workpiece!

Here is a youtube video of a simple jig I made in order to cut rails and stiles for some raised panel doors. The cutters I'm using have 3/4" shank, but you can get them in 1/2" and they come with removable knives so you can change the profiles.
