Using Shift when dragging
Using Shift when dragging
I got used to pressing Shift to hold an object to an X or Y axis when dragging it around, is it me or has this feature disappeared with V9?

Re: Using Shift when dragging
It's now the Alt key for that.
The use of the shift and alt keys wasn't consistent in the software so it was tidied up which has mean that particular combination has changed. If you turn on Smart Snapping there's no need to use a key combination as the smart snap lines will "soft" constrain the drag for you.

Thanks that's better just using Alt instead.
I know about the snapping and love it but....
I'm still getting used to all the other great new stuff so it may take a little time to drop old habits
