STL files

Can anyone recommend a Good website that sells a library of STL files....... looking for Table legs,,, that kind of stuff maybe,, French carved louis,, Queen Ann,, that can be machined one side and the other using the New double sided feature ... Don't know were to start really?? I know it works well on Bowels ,, just wondering how it works on Table legs.

go to https://www.osbornewood.com/ they have ton's of file you can download for free, or look thru their catalog and send me a PM and I can send you the file or files.

There are models, and then there are, well, MODELS.

The Osborne STL files are not really suitable for "manufacturing".

A few too many facets for me. I suppose one could spend time smoothing that out, but it does not look like it is worth the effort.

Here is another one, it looks like Bucky Beaver gnawed it out:

I would bet dollars to donuts that they do this for the express purpose of protecting their work.

I imagine the Osborne files are like that on purpose. They do sell those parts after all, and it wouldn't make business sense for them to provide high-quality files that you could just copy. I think those models are there so that you can pull them into display software that would allow you, for example, to show a customer what a kitchen with that part would look like.
