Re: Live Edge
Actually Michael has done more than one. He also made a "'live edge" for me to use on one of my projects.

Re: Live Edge
Michael,
Thanks for sharing your live edge solution, great idea and seems to be simple to make.
I am somewhat confused by one of your images.
I understand the edge and the flat, but why is there a gap between the two rails and the top edge? In your model picture I don't see that gap. What am I missing?

Re: Live Edge
John,
It was for demonstration purposes only.....to show the difference between the two.
You would then slide the one part onto the other till they matched..

Re: Live Edge
That example looks really good, so I got the two rail sweep shape down but I am lost in how to get the texture in their and the waves.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Re: Live Edge
Bill,
I created two vertical lines then used node edit to create an edge that I liked, copied that curve, moved it over by the Vector cross section width and used node edit to modify the second edge to suit. Then used the two rail sweep.
Hope this helps.

Re: Live Edge
Sorry Bill, I missed answering part of your question.
You need to create a component of the texture and add it to the component created by the two rail sweep.
