Re: tabs in preview
I lowered the model height until I have .15 inches of material left below the model and the tabs still do not show on the preview. I am stumped.

Re: tabs in preview
Seems obvious, but did you reset the preview before this test?jarm2 wrote:The tabs do not show with only the profile cutout being run.

Re: tabs in preview
I'm not sure if this has anything to do with your problem but when I look at the 2D view you provided there are a few areas where the outer profile vector is cutting the 3D model apart. Look at the top area of the model where the vector runs through the model.jarm2 wrote:I have my tabs on a separate screen from the main page. I don't see anywhere on the toolpaths tab where I can select preview quality.
Can you snap a picture of the model 2D profile toolpath that shows the tabs added to the toolpath?

Re: tabs in preview
You might need to do 3D tabs instead of the regular 2D tabs. When you preview your model, the cutter will eliminate the 2D tab...joe

Re: tabs in preview
I cleaned up my vectors and reran the toolpaths. I now have all the tabs showing. Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions. I appreciate the effort. Your ideas led me to solving my issue. Thanks again and happy carving.

Re: tabs in preview
Hate to bother everyone, but I just want to understand what actually happened.
It had nothing to do with 2d vs 3d tabs, it was vector creation/editing/selection problem.

Re: tabs in preview
The tabs will not show up if you un-checked the "modeling components" to see the work better, then did not "save or recalculated" with components checked.
I learned the hard way, couldn't figure it out, until I check the components, then recalculated.
