I know I am a bit behind the times, but I have only just upgraded to V9.
When I am drawing a shape ... how do I drag it on the same plane.... Once highlighted I used to hold the shift key and then move it vertical or horizontal ... to copy ,, control + shift and it would travel in the same plane.
What am I doing wrong??
Tim

Re: V9 dragging a object
You have to hold alt instead of shift now. It's why I went back to 8.5.

Re: V9 dragging a object
Hi Tim,
There isn't really a need for you to hold any key down to keep an object aligned in X or Y when dragging in V9, this can all be done whilst Smart Snapping/ Smart Cursor is enabled.
See Attachment.
I hope this helps!
