It was "yes". Set it to "no". I do have a Wacom tablet but don't use it a lot. Didn't change anything - still seeing the behavior.

EDIT - also to answer Martin's question, I'm running the latest version of Windows 10 Pro and it's up-to-date on upgrades.

Also to answer Martin, I too am running the latest version of Win 10 with the latest updates. I've also check the display drivers to make sure they are up to date.

Mouse's battery perhaps? If corded, bad contact? Sorry, but we never know, and I notice when the battery of my mouse weakens it becomes erratic.

I actually replaced the mouse, thinking that was the issue. No joy.

I tried it also and got some unexpected behavior. If you have another program open, like another copy of Aspire, and that window is maximized in the background and the focus is on Aspire in the front-most window, following Highpocket's instructions will result in changing the focus to the window underneath. The window underneath must be maximized to full screen or nothing will happen.

It does seem to be specific to computer configuration somehow. I just tried it on my laptop, with several programs running in the background, and it's not happening on that machine.

I've disabled double click handling on the toolbar and list button. This won't have any effect from the user's point of view. At best, it will eliminate the issue. At worst, it will narrow the problem further from our point of view, as we're still unable to reproduce the issue.

This will be in V9.009, so keep an eye out on it please when it's released.

Thank you

Mohamed

Thanks Mohamed as a retired software developer I understand the problems trying to track down a problem you can't reproduce.

Just received an email from Vectric support, they have been able to replicate the problem and working on a fix!!! The fix will be in a future sub version release.

It is too bad all companies aren't like vectric. Outstanding product and outstanding customer support.
