I made a light box to evaulate lithos as I clean them.

I have yet to come up with good backlit frame to put them in . I would like to make thin battery powered frame.... so far I just make frame out of MDF paint with Hammered paint, http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showpost. ... tcount=169
put a hook in them hang in front of bright window... hmmm I guess you could say they are solar powered...

Hi Kent,
I like the working light that you had done using old stuff. I had an old desklamp too but I think it got thrown away
The frames I am getting made are 10 LED's and a plug pack, I am just waiting for the chinese to finish them and send them over. I am only getting them done for 6" x 4" photograph size at present and depending on that I will get some more in different sizes and I may try some different lighting too. The pictures will be about 150mm x 100mm with a 14mm border around them and all done in Corian.
I saw the frames that bsimages had and they were pretty good as well but these ones are a little better quality and the LED's are definitely more diffused that those ones.

Hello Bob,
please to post when you get them . I looked ionto some leds but I couldn't get them diffuse enough to not have hot spots.
LBJ yep Mercedes-Benz were you able to see that In the lithos ?
That is what really impressed me on this litho. It is so small and thin and it was still able to get that detail out These lithos never fail to impress me . Great Software

Hi Kent,
I am just waiting for the manufacturing process to occur now, the chinese do things slightly different to over here and it has been a reasonably drawn out process to even get this far. I have got some photographs of the frames and they do look very good, but there is nothing like having one here to see how good they are!
I'll will give you a shout when I get them in person, I will be able to give a better opinion then
The CNC has died recently, the xylotex board has a problem and there is nothing from the z-axis output chip so I have sent it back to Jeff. Probably be off the air for another couple of weeks yet
