Looking for a Specific STL File

Post by TimSchubach »

Hi all,

I hope I'm not posting to the wrong forum, but I thought this would at least be a good starting place. My dad was a WWII vet who passed this March. Long story short, I was planning on attaching his grave marker "medallion" ( Image ) to the flag box I'll be making. The funeral home started the paperwork for me, and then the VA contacted me saying that dad was not eligible for the medallion since his cremains will not be buried. I'm sure there are ways of "questionable morality" to get around that, but I'm not heading down that road. Instead, I'm trying to find an STL file of the image that I can use, and I'll make my own medallion for the flag box - something I think dad would have appreciated more anyway.

I've spent quite a bit of time trying to find a file, but so far to no avail. If anyone knows where I can find/purchase this, please let me know.

Many thanks,
Tim

Started with a higher res pic of medallion and made component; used "Create shape from vectors" for folded flag.
STL is 5MB--send me a PM if you'd like the file.
