Our new customer portal V&CO is now live!
We have been working to streamline our processes and give our customers more of what they want. With the launch of version 9 imminent we felt that it was the perfect opportunity to launch our Vectric & Community (V&CO) initiative, a new and improved online portal designed with our customers in mind.
V&CO gives all of our customers access to a personalised account bringing together free products and projects they are entitled to regardless of what version of the software they are currently running.
Vectric Tip -
If you want to be one of the first to upgrade to V9 when we launch it, make sure you have signed in to your V&CO customer portal account.
If you have an existing account you can log in by going to https://portal.vectric.com/. All you need is the e-mail address your software is registered with.
If you don’t have an existing portal account, use your registered e-mail address to sign up. You will be sent a verification e-mail with the opportunity to create your password. If you don't know your registered e-mail address, or if you no longer have access to that email account please contact support on support@vectric.com
If you purchased through one of our hardware partners and you haven’t yet registered your software, you will need to do this before you can access your V&CO account.
Please note - the only way you will be able to upgrade is through your V&CO account!

4D...
History has shown that most new releases happen on a Tuesday. There are only 52 or 53 of them.

Re: Our new customer portal V&CO is now live!
With some help from Vectric Support this morning my customer portal is ready for V9, and I have finally upgraded to V8.5. I'm ready for the V9 upgrade whenever it is ready. My check book, not so much, but bring it on Vectric - we're anxiously waiting ...

The two sided machining upgrade does look interesting.

Imminent sure is taking longer than I expected. Longer even than the definition of that word implies. I know Vectric is all excited about being at the AWFSfair in a few days, but this is just a bit cruel to keep teasing us with no release of 9.

I agree with 4D Thinker. Imminent has a definition. It certainly has not been met. If they are fixing something then so be it but it would be nice if they said as much!

The quality of the product is remembered long after the delivery date

Better to get it as bug free as possible prior to release than to put out a buggy product. Their reputation is at stake.
