Say I have a rectangle and would like to do an extrude with a 35 degree angle but I would like to keep one edge a straight vertical. Is this possible?
I'm not sure how else to explain this.
Thank you in advance for the help..

Of course - it's not only possible, but doable.
Draw a sketch and take a picture, then upload it here for us to look at. I'm afraid your description is too vague to know exactly what you want to do. Lots of interpretations are possible. Your photo of the sketch will make it clear.

Re: extrude feature
The Moulding toolpath will do what you want very easily. I drew a vector representing the side view you wanted extruded. I drew a vector on the left edge to be the guide rail to extrude along. Use the guide rail vector, then click on the side view vector. Choose a ball nose bit for best results.

Re: extrude feature
Great that you provided the sketch. I had no idea you wanted it smoothed like that.
I used the Two-Rail Sweep and trimmed off one edge to achieve what I thought you wanted.
Also did an Extrude, but I realized it had three "straight vertical edges", so I eliminated that right away. (Turns out that was closer to your sketched illustration after all.)

Re: extrude feature
Hmmm. Looking at your sketch again, are you wanting three edges tapered at the 35/degree angle? If so, the Two-Rail Sweep and trim would be the closest (you can make the sweep profile top corner smooth/radiused if required).
