Re: Need help with sharp internal corner
You MUST use the same cutter in the tool database when you create the toolpath as the actual cutter you use in the machine.

The preview picture looks good.
From the picture of the actual cut it looks like the V cutter is a different angle than the tool path generation.

Re: Need help with sharp internal corner
What software runs machine?
Looks familiar, like a setting problem I've seen with people that have Mach3(of which I know nothing)?

I agree with Leo, check your bit. Just because the label say 60° doesn't mean it is. Read this thread http://forum.vectric.com/viewtopic.php?p=13653

Re: Need help with sharp internal corner
Scott, I have been running Mach 3 about 10 years now and have never had it cause the problem shown.
That said, I have seen all sorts of problems when things got lose, or the bit was not as advertised, etc.
That is a new one on me?

Re: Need help with sharp internal corner
Sorry Ted:(
It reminded me of Constant Velocity(??) settings where it would over run a corner at first?
My mistake.

Re: Need help with sharp internal corner
Scotty, that could definitely happen. Decel set way too high and the machine slams into the corner, everything is stressed to the max and voila, overcut!
